Wireless comparisons without the guesswork.
Five Bars helps U.S. shoppers compare wireless plans, phone offers, and switching costs before committing to a carrier.
What we do
We bring plan details and device offers into one searchable catalog, provide comparison and switching-cost calculators, and link readers to the carriers' published information. Our tools are educational estimates—not binding quotes, coverage guarantees, or carrier checkout systems.
How we earn trust
We distinguish advertised prices from actual checkout verification, flag unresolved offers, and explain renewal rates, prepaid periods, financing, and eligibility when supported by available evidence. Our default comparison rankings are based on documented criteria and user preferences, not carrier commissions.
For evidence levels and correction standards, read our editorial methodology and official-source research.
Independence and future partnerships
Five Bars is preparing for potential affiliate partnerships. A carrier's appearance here does not mean we have an agreement with it. If compensated links are introduced, we'll disclose the relationship next to relevant recommendations and keep compensation separate from rankings. Read our commercial disclosures.
Questions or corrections?
We welcome feedback about confusing comparisons, outdated pricing, or accessibility barriers. Contact Five Bars or use the public correction report for non-sensitive pricing issues.
